I love this smartphone car mount! Not only does it hold my phone securely in place with no vibration, it mounts easily to my rear view mirror. I have used other smartphone mounts that hook to the air vents of my car and they have always been loose and easily knocked off while you are driving. And you also have to take your eyes off the road whenever you want to see what your phone is doing. Not with this setup! It takes a little while to get used to it hanging below your mirror but it doesn't block as much of your view out your windshield as you would think. I would recommend this product for everyone who wants to use their smartphone for you navigation system or in addition to your Bluetooth headset while you are driving around town or cross-country.
Would have appreciated better installation instructions, however, I went to You Tube and found what I needed. You have to be careful when mounting it so as not to interfere with your garage door opener buttons. Other than that - it's a fabulous product. Would recommend to anyone. We use it strictly for the Wave app, but it is an iPhone bracket, so it could be utilized for other uses.
Don’t judge by the looks of this! It works just fine with my phone In a otter box case and I have a iPhone 6. Never fell out when driving and recently I rolled my car from falling asleep at the wheel after 3rd shift. Went to the dump to retrieve my items from my car and it was still on my mirror with no damage and in one piece. GREAT BUY!!
At 1st I thought "noo don't tell it's not adjustable" the bottom clips are the 1s who expand for bigger mirrors. Now my mirror has the backup camera compass & it's really thick. The bottom clips were also pressing some buttons so had modify it to the mirror. After modifying stability issue appeared & fix it by tighting phone holder knob & resolved it. In the end it worked.
I really like this phone holder. My car doesn’t have GPS, so I have to rely on my phone. I used to have a holder that sticks to the dashboard, but this one is much more convenient to access and see. It’s right under the mirror, and you can reach it if you need to swipe an news alert away. It took me a minute to figure out how to attach it to the mirror and then how to put the phone in because there weren’t any instructions included. My phone is an IPhone 8, and it fits great. I’m not sure if it would expand to a Plus but it does seem to have some more expansion room. My car is a Honda CRV just for FYI. The only thing that bugs me a little bit is it shakes some when I go over bumpy roads. I thought I’d mention that. Hope this helps. I’d definitely recommend it!
